I got a resounding yes that they’d prefer to go out to enjoy some outdoor fun things.
I asked again where they would prefer to go in Texas! The majority said they absolutely love San Angelo while only a few suggested Houston and Denton. For every kid that toots his or her way across San Angelo, there is a glamorous museum mainly for kids.

1. The International Waterlily Collection
If you want some pleasant surprises for your kids, endeavor to bring them to The International Waterlily Collection. We were there and we feel extremely glad seeing these beautiful several historic waterlily cultivars along with new hybrids and the large water platters.
Note that, if you have not taken your kids to a place, bring them, let them come and see the water lilies in full bloom! Besides, there are tons of fun things for your kids here, don’t hesitate to bring them! The water lilies in full bloom will create an unforgettable experience for them. Beyond that, the staff are kids friendly and are always eager to play with your kids and the admission fee is reasonable.

2. Concho River Walk
Concho River Walk is a nature preserve that provides some scenic exercise around town, the Concho River Walk is the place to do a little bit of walking, jogging, or even hiking with kids. It’s really good for a morning, afternoon, or evening walk and it’s not overly commercialized like many city’s river walk. Beyond that, kids can play, eat and relax. The Kids Kingdom outdoor play area is also large and is a great stop for kids

3. San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts
They surely maintain this place so welcoming with wonderful exhibits. Most times they also host events for the kids. We did not enjoy the amazing exhibits because they are excellent and the special wonderful events reach out not only to my kids but also to the adults who were available as well. There are only 4 rooms here and each one had different fun things. More so, there are several collections of styles so, if your kids like art, there is definitely be something that will strike their fancy here.

4. Icon Cinema
Icon Cinema is the best and most fun movie theater in San Angelo that creates a feast for the eye of every wonderful kid. Not only that it has extremely comfortable seats and they are reclining! The arcade is great and there’s truly something fun for kids here. Kids will have blast here by getting great movies experience and birthday parties are best celebrated here! The employees are always available to play with every kid and are so friendly.

5. Kids Kingdom Park
Kids Kingdom is a perfect destination to bring any kids to enjoy. It is so cool and has a well-kept playground that is a fun place for these younger children. The ground is really soft enough for little falls and there is a lot to do that parents can also join their children. Even when it appears so busy, it is not overly crowded. Personally, I had enough fun at this park and the kids were happy they were here! Great adventure with very well-manicured lawns.

6. Chocolate Shop
Don’t miss out on getting sweet chocolate for your kids at Chocolate Shop. We were here and bought some peachy keen pecan and strawberry truffles, the kids love it and insisted they will always come. Both were fantastic and make them so happy! The owner is also a friendly gentleman who does great work. He guides us through the different varieties and also gave a sample when we asked. It is simply the best chocolate shop you would be happy to visit.

7. Miss Hattie’s BORDELLO MUSEUM
I have heard about this and totally thought a few of what I was told would be lies, incredibly, it is beyond what we ever thought. We looked so close to the artifacts and even had lunch after our tour. Kids found the information to be extremely interesting and entertaining. The staff is knowledgeable and it’s an extremely interesting one, they gladly gave gifts to kids on sight and it was all fun.

8. Municipal Pool
The municipal pool is a public swimming pool in San Angelo with over half of the pool as a splash area for kids. It is very rare to see a public pool with larger parts of its portion dedicated to kids. Besides, there is also a basketball court where every kid can also go to play once they have an interest. The admission fee is just $5/person starting at age three. Shade is not limited and also several seating options around the pool like chairs, a covered picnic area, and tiered bleachers. We really enjoyed it here during our last visit and all kids left happily.
