Bite Into the Best Kid-Friendly Restaurants in Louisville

Wild Eggs

Wild Eggs Louisville KentuckyWild Eggs is a breakfast place with quite a few locations around Louisville including downtown. My nieces love this place so much that it’s our #1. They have coloring sheets for kids and a solid kid’s menu. The regular menu is even better. Get a massive cinnamon roll for the table to share.

Dave and Busters

Louisville Dave and Busters

Dave and Busters is always a great place to dine with kids. We order, then go play games while waiting for the food. Then eat and play some more! With the variety of games available, kids will stay happy and entertained for hours. I ordered a plate full of veggies and it was phenomenal. Located at 5000 Shelbyville Rd, Louisville, KY 40207.

Mirage MediterraneanMirage Mediterranean

Kids love bread and kids love hummus which means they will actually eat well. The portions are large and easily sharable. Not sure what to get your kids? Get the kabobs. Located at 4100 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213.

Big Bad BreakfastBig Bad Breakfast in Louisville

I personally felt that this was the best breakfast in Louisville. I liked it so much that I bought their cookbook! They let you get on the waitlist before you arrive and I highly recommend doing this. This place is so popular you will still have to wait, but it will lessen the wait. Eden and I split the huevos rancheros grit bowl and it was so freaking good. Located at 984 Barret Ave, Louisville, KY 40204.

Bearno’s By the BridgeBearno's By the Bridge

Bearno’s pizza is a fantastic pizza place downtown and they have coloring sheets for kids. We only ordered one pizza for three adults and two kids and it was more than enough food for us. Their large pizzas are absolutely massive. Located at 131 W Main St, Louisville, KY 40202 within walking distance from the children’s museum.

The EagleThe Eagle in Louisville

That dip…..the blue cheese dip alone is worth venturing over to The Eagle. Our server was absolutely awful but the food was so good I am still going to recommend it. Just know that you may get crap service. Located at 1314 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40204.

The Comfy CowThe Comfy Cow

This popular ice cream parlor serves up some of the best homemade ice cream around. With over 40 flavors always available, including vegan options and seasonal specialties, The Comfy Cow is sure to have something that everyone in your family will love. Kids will love watching their custom creations come together right before their eyes—plus there’s nothing quite like getting a scoop of yummy ice cream on a hot day!
