New York is known as the city that never sleeps, with endless entertainment opportunities and things to do. In saying that, you’ll need some downtime every now and then, and what better place than a rooftop pool right in the heart of the city!

With the hot summer days quickly approaching, we’ve created this guide on where to find the best rooftop pools in NYC!

Let’s jump right in!

Overview of the 8 Best Rooftop Pools In NYC

Most rooftop pools in New York are located within upscale hotels or private buildings.

However, there are some well-maintained pools allowing access to outside guests with a day pass. That is a great alternative for those living in New York or staying in another hotel, so we will note rooftop pools with day passes on this list!

For the best experience, we suggest you book a night in one of the hotels on this list.

The rooftop pool of Royalton Park Avenue, with its glass barriers, has one of the best views in the city. It is located on the 20th floor of the hotel, right in the heart of Manhattan, with an unobstructed view of the Empire State Building.

The rooftop pool is heated and can be enjoyed by hotel guests from mid-April until mid-November. You can grab a drink from the rooftop bar between dips and relax on the pool loungers as you soak in the sun.
