During our weekend getaway to Sunriver, Oregon, we went whitewater rafting with Sun Country Tours. It was one of the highlights of our trip.
We were a little nervous about taking the kids whitewater rafting with us for the first time, but they have lots of tours to select from. We went with the “Big Eddie” trip. It was less than 3 hours from start to finish so the perfect way to introduce the kids to rafting. Plus, if they were miserable it would at least be over fairly quickly as opposed to an all day rafting trip. It doesn’t hurt that it’s the cheapest trip too.

One last thing……my kids have never agreed to whitewater raft again. When they think back on this excursion, it’s negative. They were too young. I recommend waiting until your youngest child is ten before trying this.
